Dr Subia Rasul MBBS DCH DFFP MRCGP
Dr Rasul qualified from Barts
& The London Medical School and completing her family training in Essex.
Interests include women's medicine and family planning with a
certificate in competence in Coil Insertion. Dr Rasul is fluent in
a number of languages and is very much a local doctor. Dr Rasul
works mainly on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.
Dr Clare Shaw MBBS DRCOG DFFP MRCGP
Dr Shaw trained at Sheffield University Medical School
and spent some time with the Royal Navy before completing training in
family medicine. Dr Shaw has interests in psychiatry, CBT and teaching.
Dr Shaw works mainly on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.
Dr Omar Rahim BSc MBBS MRCS MRCGP DFFP
DOccMed PGCert (Med Ed)
Dr Rahim is Medical Director at the practice and takes
responsibility to ensure the practice runs smoothly and efficiently and
to the highest clinical standards. His main work is carrying out
minor operations and joint injections as well as some occupational
health medicals.
Nurse Mandie Townend
Mandie is a very experienced modern practice nurse who
has additional interests and qualifications including a Diploma in
Diabetes. She carries out all long term condition treatments and
is qualified to prescribe medications also. See

Our receptionists are very experienced and with our small team you will
get to know them quite well. They will try to attend to your
requests and assist you in your needs.
Assistant Practice Manager Sue Kinchin
Sue carries out a number of duties at the practice
including secretarial work as well as being the patient services manager
handling patient enquiries and ensuring services are running smoothly.
She also helps out on the clinical side as a Healthcare Assistant.
Operational Manager
Patricia Bailes
Pat Bailes works in Newcastle under Lyme in
Staffordshire and assists the practice in terms of some back office
administration functions as well as providing management assistance to
the practice.
